About Asian Canadian Mental Health Network

Our Mission

The Asian Canadian Mental Health Network's mission is to connect the Asian diaspora with mental health professionals across Canada, cultivating wellness, promoting healing, and fostering thriving communities.

Purpose

Our purpose is to provide accessible mental health professionals and resources for Asian Canadians. We aim to advance mental health equity and support clients in reclaiming their heritage.

Our Story

A network rooted in lived experience.

Asian Canadian Mental Health Network was founded by a coalition of Asian Canadian clinicians, community organizers, and individuals who saw firsthand how cultural disconnect kept too many people from the support they needed.

What began as a grassroots referral list has grown into Canada's most trusted directory of culturally competent therapists — built around the belief that healing happens fastest when you're truly understood.

Today, we serve thousands of community members each year across Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese, South Asian, Filipino, and Vietnamese communities — and we're just getting started.
